The Lessons of Life.

Hey guys.

I guess I'm back....

Thanks to Tiffany and Devin for the encouraging comments on my last post. They made me feel a little better (:

I was just a little sad last time I posted, and kind of discouraged. When Im surrounded by so many people with like a bajillion followers, its hard not to feel a little inadequite.

I mean, look at Tiffany! We created our blogs at practically the same time, and she has like 25 followers, whereas I have 9!

Oh Tiffany.

You popular thing, you!

Oh well. I guess I just need to get over it.

Bt if any of you out there want to help me with my issues, (especially those of you with tons of followers), spread the word! Tell them I like their blogs, or tell them to follow more people (I.E- me.) Or just tell them I'm desperate. Heehee (:

Whatever works.

But you dont have to, I'm just saying, if ur bored or if you have a lot of time on your hands. <3

Ok, now back to my blog.

As you can see, the title is called Lessons of Life.

The first lesson  am giving you, is NEVER WATCH THE SHINING AT NIGHT BY YOURSELF.

I made that mistake last night.

Holy Mother of God, that is a scary freaking movie.

But it is the good kind of scary, like, it actually has a plot that makes sense, and good acting, and real psychological thrill. Its not just a pointless slasher film oozing with unessesary fake blood and guts and lots of overused killing and screaming.

Like, say, The Grudge, or Psycho, or any of the Saw movies.

Some good, classic, scare-the-pants-off-of-you-but-in-a-good-way movies are the following: The Shining, Silence of the Lambs, When a Stranger Calls, and Nightmare on Elm Street.

However, Nightmare on Elm Street is pushing it a little as far as the violence goes.... as you can see, I'm pretty into scary movies.

Scary books too! Scary books are great. Some of my faves are: The Family Tree, House, Ask the Bones (full of classic scary "fables" from around the globe), and the Gargoyle.

All great titles. But if you aren't into this kind of thing, ignore my ramblings.

Ok, next Lesson of Life that I learned recently. DONT FLY ON PLANES FOR 12 HOURS IF YOU ARE EXTREMELY ILL.

Thats kind of why I havent blogged in a while. I've been sick.
SICK AS A DOG!!

I had a 104 degree fever, sweating, headache, chest pains, chills, the whole package.

It sucked.

But I learned that flying on a plane for an extended period of time (flying home from Japan) while sick is not a good idea. It just makes you and everyone around you, even sicker.

Aparently, I had such a high fever on the plane, that I was hallucinating! My dad told me that I kept saying "It's red, but it hurts like black. Black skies mean bad luck. Don't die. Bad luck," over and over again.

I asked him if I was sleep-talking, and he said no, because I was wide awake. I was shaking and everything.
Freaky, right??

Everyone sitting near me on the plane must have gotten pretty sick of me.

But I tell you something, I must have had some prety darn good luck, because I've been sick for 3 days now, and I figured I would stay sick for my birthday (tomorrow), but literally, a few minutes ago, the fever INSTANTLY dropped back to normal, and I stopped, sweating, shaking, and sneezing/coughing within the course of a few minutes!

That brings me to Lesson of Life Number Three. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF GOD.

Wow, I feel truly blessed to have been "cured", if you will, so quickly!

Ok, moving on.
Moving on tooooo..........

MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is, it is, it really really is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow.

BUT IM STILL SUPER EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my ears pierced yesterday, by the way!! Sort of like an early birthday gift from my mom (:

Thanks Mamma!!

Im excited.!!

Ok, NEXT....
Yes, its true, Im back in the U.S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh wow, I've never been prouder to be an American. MMM...its sweet to be home <3

Im so relieved to be back under my own roof, in my own bed. It feels so good to be able to eat a big juicy, hamburger after eating nothing but fish for breakfast, lunch, & dinner.

It feels so nice to be able to walk down the street and not be laughed at, or pointed at for being a blonde with blue eyes in a crowd of pale, raven-haired people with dark brown eyes.

Its so great to be able to watch American football on this awesome invention called a televsion, which no stupid hotel in Japan had.

So, yeah, Im pretty psyched to be back (:

Well, that pretty much all I have to say!

Oh! One more thing.

To Juliet- Im sorry you are sick to, on your birthday :( We could take care of each other if u want! :D Haha, just kidding. See u at the party! Get better soon!

Bye everyone.

xoxo
